This means that no new item should enter it when a specific phase of the workflow reaches its limit. Limiting WIP can help you align your team's capacity with the actual number of work items that need to be completed at a given moment. This contributes to improvement in Flow, reduction in multitasking, and, therefore, an increase in your team's productivity levels.
